Catherine Plasse is the new CFO of Esker
Esker has announced the appointment of Catherine Plasse as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Plasse, reporting to Emmanuel Olivier, Esker’s COO on the Board of Directors, will oversee and coordinate Esker’s finance teams worldwide. Additionally, she will join Esker’s Associate Board of Directors, taking charge of creating information for the public and financial communities.
Her responsibilities include maintaining a robust internal control environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, and actively contributing to Esker’s environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) policies. Plasse will play a pivotal role in managing Esker’s operational performance by overseeing budgetary and control aspects in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
With over 15 years of experience in strategic financial management across various international companies, Plasse notably served in key Financial Analyst and Controller positions at Suez Group. Her previous role included a three-year tenure as CFO in the US. She holds degrees in International Business Administration from Northumbria University (BA), IAE France (master’s degree), and EDHEC Business School (BA). Plasse also holds certifications in Sustainable Transition Management from HEC Paris and in Principles of Sustainable Finance from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
Founded in 1985, Lyon-headquartered Esker operates globally, offering AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity, visibility, fraud risk reduction, and collaboration for Finance, Procurement, and Customer Service professionals.
