Tungsten West Brings Alistair Stobie to Take the Helm as CFO

According to an announcement on Friday, the mining company Tungsten West has appointed Alistair Stobie as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective November 13.

Stobie, who previously held the position of CFO at Hurricane Energy and Octavia Energy, brings with him a “strong track record” of leading finance functions for AIM-listed businesses in the energy and natural resources sector, as stated by Tungsten West.

David Cather, Chairman of Tungsten West, expressed his delight in welcoming Alistair to the company, emphasizing Stobie’s extensive experience in fundraising and debt refinancing. Cather sees Stobie’s expertise playing a crucial role as the company aims to resume operations at Hemerdon.
