Jeff Whiteside Resigns from his position as CFO at eXp World Holdings

Jeff Whiteside, the Chief Financial Officer of eXp World Holdings, has resigned from his position, as announced by the company on Thursday. A search process is underway to find a suitable replacement. The company clarified that Whiteside’s planned departure is unrelated to any disagreement regarding financial statements or disclosures.

Whiteside, who served as CFO for five years, will remain with the company until December 1 to facilitate a smooth transition. During this period, Kent Cheng, the Chief Accounting Officer of eXp World Holdings, will assume the role of the principal financial officer.

Expressing gratitude for his time with the company, Whiteside stated, “I am thankful for the opportunity to contribute across eXp World Holdings over the past five years. I look forward to watching their continued success as they build upon their agent-centric innovation model.”

Glenn Sanford, the founder, chairman, and CEO of eXp World Holdings and eXp Realty, expressed appreciation for Whiteside’s contributions, acknowledging his financial expertise in guiding the company through periods of growth and change.

In the financial update, eXp World Holdings reported robust results for the third quarter of the fiscal year. Despite challenges in the real estate market, the company achieved $1.214 billion in revenue, a 2% decrease from $1.238 billion the previous year. The profit for Q3 was $1.3 million, down 69% from $4.4 million in the same period last year.
