Angel Santodomingo Succeeds Duke Dayal in the role of CFO at Santander UK
Santander UK has appointed Angel Santodomingo as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Duke Dayal, who has held the role since 2019. Santodomingo will report to Santander UK CEO Mike Regnier.
He has been with Santander since 2005, initially joining as the head of international developments and asset management, later becoming CFO and investor relations officer in Santander, Brazil. His most recent role was as the Group Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the Executive Chair of Banco Santander, Ana Botín.
Regnier expressed his delight in welcoming Santodomingo, highlighting the valuable experience he brings to the role, especially in light of the new Group operating model. Santodomingo, in turn, expressed excitement about joining Santander UK after 18 years of experience across different parts of the Group.
