Vinay Bassi Replaces current CPSI CFO, Matt Chambless
CPSI (NASDAQ: CPSI), a leader in community healthcare solutions, has announced the appointment of Vinay Bassi as its Chief Financial Officer, effective from January 1, 2024. The current Chief Financial Officer, Matt Chambless, will continue to advise the company for a period following January 1, 2024, to facilitate a smooth transition from Mr. Chambless to Mr. Bassi.
Fowler expressed gratitude for Matt Chambless’s contributions to CPSI, noting his essential role in the company’s growth strategy. He also shared his excitement about the arrival of Vinay at CPSI.
Bassi expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “It is an exciting time to join CPSI, and I’m eager to get started in my new role. I look forward to working alongside Chris and the team to help CPSI execute its vision and seize on the opportunities ahead to drive value creation for its shareholders.”
Bassi has a decades-long career as a strategic finance leader spanning various industries, with a history of creating value. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Audience Measurement division at Nielsen Holdings plc, a global leader in audience measurement, data, and analytics. His role at Nielsen, starting in 2016, also included several senior operational and financial positions, such as serving as Chief Financial Officer to the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate FP&A, Global M&A, and Investments.
Before joining Nielsen, Bassi held the position of Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Avaya Inc., a technology collaboration company. He began his career as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and gained experience at Standard & Poor’s and Citigroup.
