As of October 20, 2023, Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest person in China, with an estimated net worth of 60.1 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Zhang Yiming (No. 2, $43.4 billion), Colin Zheng Huang (No. 3, $36.7 billion); and William Ding (No. 4, $32.6 billion).

Ma Huateng is the fifth-richest person in China, with a whopping $32.0 billion. Jack Ma ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $25.3 billion, followed by He Xiangjian with $21.2 billion. Wang Chuanfu is placed 8th with a net worth of $17.6 billion. Eric Li ($16.1 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in China.
