SEE Holding Appoints Christine O’Brien as CFO

In the wake of the recent announcement about the consolidation of SEE Holding Ltd, the UAE’s premier sustainable global holding company, the Group is pleased to introduce Christine O’Brien as the Chief Financial Officer.

Christine O’Brien joins SEE Holding from Elliott Investment Management, a prominent global investment firm. During her tenure from 2017 to 2023, she served as the Head of Investment Stewardship, successfully and efficiently incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into the firm’s investment processes. In addition to her investment management experience, Ms. O’Brien has a background in audit from her time in the banking practice at KPMG. She has also contributed to multiple boards and industry advisory councils. Ms. O’Brien is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner in the state of New York, holding both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Her extensive experience brings a unique perspective to SEE Holding’s financial strategy, ensuring a comprehensive approach to growth and sustainability.

Christine’s appointment follows the addition of F. Jacob Cherian to SEE Holding’s Executive Leadership team earlier this year when he joined as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Jacob brings a wealth of managerial experience to SEE Holding, with a well-established background in U.S. capital markets, IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, and international management consulting, spanning over two decades of service as CEO of three NASDAQ-listed corporations. His professional journey includes roles at notable institutions such as JP Morgan, KPMG, and Computer Sciences Corp. Additionally, Jacob has made substantial contributions to academia, having served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at St. John’s University’s Tobin College of Business MBA Programme. His experience in overseeing operational strategies will significantly contribute to the company’s success in navigating complex market dynamics and expanding its global presence.
