On Tuesday, Synthomer reported that its Chief Financial Officer, Lily Liu, had acquired 20,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed chemical company. Liu, who assumed the role of CFO in July 2022, bought these shares on Monday at an average price of 205.0p per share, totaling around $50,000.
In September, Synthomer announced a $336.0 million rights issue in conjunction with a decline in first-half revenue and earnings. The company revealed that revenue from continuing operations had decreased by 12.5% in the six months ending on June 30, amounting to around $1.3 billion, and EBITDA was down by 55.8% at approximately $87.7 million.
