Jim Boswell Assumes the role of CFO of FullSpeed Automotive

E Automotive

FullSpeed Automotive, the parent company of flagship brands Grease Monkey®, SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service®, and Kwik Kar®, has recently promoted Jim Boswell to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Boswell initially joined FullSpeed in 2021 as the Vice President of Finance and has played a pivotal role in establishing a high-caliber finance team to meet the fast-paced requirements of the brand.

Notably, he led the development of a highly effective financial planning and analysis team and initiated the Business Intelligence function for the brand. Due to his outstanding performance, Boswell was appointed as the interim CFO in December 2022. He has continued to enhance the finance and accounting function, aligning it with FullSpeed’s broader strategic objectives, making him the ideal choice for the permanent CFO role.

Before joining FullSpeed Automotive, Boswell served as the CFO for Streamline Brands for two years, during which time he doubled the company’s EBITDA, professionalized the accounting department, and implemented an ERP system.

Jim Boswell expressed his satisfaction with his time at FullSpeed, while Rob Lynch, the CEO of FullSpeed Automotive, acknowledged Boswell’s extensive background and the value he has brought to the company. Lynch highlighted Boswell’s contributions in generating substantial savings, optimizing cash flows, and fostering strong relationships between accounting and finance while providing insightful support to various functional groups. He expressed confidence in the company’s financial growth under Boswell’s leadership.
