Tori Dalair Becomes CEO of Bethesda
Bethesda, headquartered in Abbotsford, has officially named a new CEO. Tori Dalair, who currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer, is set to assume the role starting on March 1, 2024. After a decade of dedicated service, Jody Siebert has chosen to embark on a new phase in her life. In a press release, Bethesda expressed their gratitude for her significant contributions during her time with the organization.
Dalair became part of Bethesda in 2015, initially serving as the Director of Operations. The President of the Board, Rachel Ludwig, praised Dalair for her unwavering commitment to Bethesda, her dedication to its mission, and her invaluable contributions over the past eight years, all of which have prepared her for her new role.
Dalair expressed her gratitude for being a part of Bethesda’s extraordinary community. She shared, “It fills my heart to see the relationships that form between people we support, their family, our staff, and the community, and how life-giving these relationships are. By focusing on each person and dismantling obstacles that stand in the way, whatever those may look like, we unlock the potential for truly transformative and empowering experiences, witnessing people flourishing and living a full and inclusive life in whatever way is most meaningful for them.”
Bethesda, originally founded in 1971, has remained dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals with diverse abilities and their families, fostering a deep sense of belonging. The organization operates in partnership with Community Living BC and the Ministry for Children and Family Development to provide home living support, community inclusion, LIFE services, and children’s respite services in the Lower Mainland and Okanagan regions.
