Safestore Announces Retirement of current CFO Andy Jones
Safestore, the self-storage group, has announced the retirement of its Chief Financial Officer, Andy Jones, who has been with the company for over a decade. While an external search for his replacement is set to commence soon, Jones will continue in his role until a suitable successor is identified.
Frederic Vecchioli, the Chief Executive of Safestore, expressed his gratitude to Andy for his outstanding contributions and dedication to the company over the past ten years. Under Andy Jones’s leadership, Safestore has successfully executed its strategic plans, including expanding its store portfolio and entering new geographical markets. During this period, the company’s revenues have grown by 120%, and its market capitalization has seen a remarkable increase of 575%.
Vecchioli added, “He has been an excellent and trusted support to me and instrumental in delivering the market-leading progress of the business in that time. I wish him well in his retirement.”
