Former Prudential CFO Mark FitzPatrick Will Be the new CEO of St James’s Place
St James’s Place PLC announced on Wednesday that Mark FitzPatrick, a former chief financial officer at Prudential PLC, will assume the role of its new chief executive officer in December.
The wealth management firm, based in Cirencester, England, disclosed that the current CEO, Andrew Croft, will step down “following an orderly handover” on December 1. However, Croft will continue to be associated with St James’s Place in an advisory capacity until 2024.
St James’s Place specified that FitzPatrick has been appointed CEO designate, effective October 1, and will officially take on the CEO position starting December 1.
Mark FitzPatrick served as CFO of the insurance company Prudential from 2017 to 2022, and he also assumed the role of chief operating officer in 2019. He briefly held the position of interim CEO at Prudential from April 2022 until February of the current year. Prior to his tenure at Prudential, he held the role of managing partner at Deloitte.
