Stephen Kadenacy is the new CFO of Black Rifle Coffee Company Effective from September 18

Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) has appointed Stephen Kadenacy as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective from September 18, 2023. Kadenacy, a veteran in the investment industry, brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience to BRCC. He was previously the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Texas-based investment firm SilverBox Capital and served as the CEO of Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) SilverBox Engaged Merger Corp until its merger with BRCC in February 2022.

BRCC stated that Kadenacy will support its efforts to achieve profitable, sustainable growth and investor returns. Evan Hafer, CEO of BRCC, expressed excitement about this appointment, emphasizing Kadenacy’s execution skills and extensive experience with public companies, which align with BRCC’s core mission and growth goals.

In August 2023, BRCC reported robust second-quarter sales, achieving 39% year-on-year total sales growth in the three months ending June 30, 2023, reaching $92 million. Higher group-level sales volumes contributed to a 42% year-on-year increase in gross profit to $32.2 million. Despite these gains, BRCC’s net loss at the end of the quarter stood at $14.7 million, an improvement from the $45 million loss reported for the same period in 2022.
