New President and CFO for TransAm Trucking
TransAm Trucking has recently announced significant leadership changes, appointing Murray Droescher as the new President and also as the Executive Vice President (EVP) of TransAm’s parent company, Jacobson Holdings. This move was disclosed on August 1. Additionally, Faith Escutia has been selected as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a decision revealed on August 8.
Faith Escutia initially joined TransAm in February 2020, assuming the role of Director of Finance. Her tenure has been instrumental in streamlining the company’s operations, earning her recognition for her commitment to financial excellence and adept navigation of complex challenges. Her capabilities made her a natural choice for the position of CFO, as commended by Russ McElliott, President of Jacobson Holdings.
On the other hand, Murray Droescher, who had previously held the position of CFO since 1999, will now be responsible for overseeing TransAm’s day-to-day operations as President. Having an extensive history with the company, having joined as a controller back in 1998, Droescher’s deep understanding of the organization and a track record of driving excellence contributed to his elevation to this pivotal role.
In response to his new role, Droescher expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to driving innovation, delivering top-tier transportation solutions, and generating lasting value for their partners.
