Sabin Bass is the new CEO of Capital Health Plan
Sabin Bass recently assumed the role of CEO on August 1st at Capital Health Plan, transitioning from his prior position as CHP Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Bass’s elevation to the CEO position followed the retirement of the longstanding President and CEO, John Hogan.
Notably, Capital Health Plan (CHP) has seen a remarkably stable leadership with just two Chief Executive Officers since its establishment in the early 1980s.
In his new capacity, Bass now leads an organization that offers health insurance coverage to a membership exceeding 135,000 individuals across nine counties in the Big Bend region.
Bass says ”I’d be remiss if I didn’t tip my hat to John and his leadership for four decades here. He’s set a very strong foundation and a very strong tone and direction. I’ve been working with John for two decades now, and we’re here to build on that legacy of the company.”
