As of July 31, 2023, Mukesh Ambani was the wealthiest person in India, with an estimated net worth of 90.5 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Gautam Adani (No. 2, $54.9 billion), Cyrus Poonawalla (No. 3, $31.1 billion) and Shiv Nadar (No. 4, $25.4 billion)
Savitri Jindal is the fifth-richest person in India, with a whopping $20.2 billion. Dilip Shanghvi ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $18.7 billion, followed by Radhakishan Damani with $16.8 billion. Lakshmi Mittal is placed 8th with a net worth of $16.8 billion. Kumar Birla ($15.9 billion) occupied the 9th position among India’s top 10 wealthiest people.
