Μake Your Own Tea Box With These Luxe Tea Infusions

Tea infusions are enhanced with varying proportions of different antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. Whether you want to feel relaxed, reduce pain, improve digestion, boost immunity, or lose weight, you can design your tea box accordingly. Your love for tea may know no bounds, but your tea box can only have so many tea infusions. So, here are our recommended team infusions that you should include in your awesome tea box:

  1. Ali Shan
Ali Shan is an oolong tea named after the mountain ranges in Taiwan because the tea is grown on high mountains. The pale-yellow tea has a floral aroma and a sweet, creamy taste. Make sure you steep the leaves several times before discarding them, as you’ll savor various flavors as the leaves open up.
  2. Dragonwell
Also known as Lung Ching, Dragonwell is grown at more than 1000 ft altitude in Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. The leaves are processed into flat, sword-shaped leaves that produce an aromatic jade-colored cup of tea with nutty, vegetal, and sweet flavors.
  3. Jasmine Silver Needle
The thick silver needles (Yin Zhen) of the tea leaves are scented with fresh jasmine blossoms several times to give them the aroma of jasmine. After steeping, the tea has a translucent color with mild notes of jasmine and sweetness. The Jasmine Silver Needle’s aroma makes this a perfect choice for a tea you can have with floral and fruity desserts.
  4. Golden Monkey
Golden Monkey is a rare black tea with lots of golden tips. Grown in the north of Fujian, China, this tea is named after twisted leaves that look like monkey hands. After steeping, you can experience its smooth body with baked potatoes, chocolate, and malt notes. You can re-steep this tea once after steeping it for the first time.
  5. Organic Ceremonial Matcha
As the name suggests, the Organic Ceremonial Matcha is a high-grade ceremonial tea. Whisk it with hot water to unlock its rich flavor. A ceremonial tea with such richness is worthy of being served in a Japanese tea ceremony. Or have it yourself if you indulge yourself in the finest green teas.
  6. Darjeeling First Flush
This top-class early-spring tea originates from the Singtom Tea Estate – one of Darjeeling’s oldest tea gardens. Darjeeling Tea or else “the Champagne of Teas” because of its admiration by French and German tea enthusiasts. The tea leaves of the Darjeeling First Flush are dark green with silver tips. The tea is light green with a floral, muscatel, and mildly sweet taste.
  7. Silver Needle
The Silver Needle is as rare as it is popular. This delicate white tea is cultivated in Fujian, China. Once steeped, this tea has a golden color and a mildly sweet aroma. You’ll experience notes of artichokes and honeysuckle and a mild honey-sweet finish. You can re-steep this medium-caffeine content once or twice after steeping it for the first time.
  8. Mizuki Reserve Matcha
Mizuki Reserve Matcha is ceremonial grade matcha – meaning it is the highest matcha quality out there! It is grown in the Yame region on the southern Japanese Island named Kyushu. Since this is a ceremonial grade matcha tea, one should make it by whisking it with only hot water. And it must be in your tea box! Once whisked, this matcha has a thick, creamy body with a nutty aroma and notes of fresh pine nuts. Mizuki roughly translates to beautiful, celebration, happiness, and fresh. Adding Mizuki Reserve Matcha to lattes or other confections would insult this matcha and rob you of savoring this matcha rich in umami.
