Ramon has a long-time history with the Louvre, and he recently discussed his role as a co-founder of the Foundation of the Louvre Museum and a chairman of its Investment Committee. The Louvre Museum in Paris strives to make art accessible to people of all backgrounds. 

De Oliveira played a critical role in helping the Foundation thrive, and he was knighted by the French government, specifically as “ Chevalier des Arts et Lettres,” as a result. This is a high honor reserved only for individuals who put great effort into enhancing French communities and the country.

De Oliveira and the Louvre

De Oliveira was a co- founding member of the Louvre Museum Foundation. He also served as the Chairman of its Investment Committee from 2009 to 2019. He spent more than 10 years helping the foundation grow and protecting the integrity of the Louvre.

De Oliveira was the perfect man for the job, as throughout his life, he always finds time for the arts and engages in community efforts. He combined his investment knowledge with his passion for the arts as he supported the Louvre Museum Foundation.

De Oliveira is known as a major powerhouse of the finance world. He was a lead executive of the Investment Management and Private Bank business of JP Morgan. He has since transitioned to entrepreneurship to have more time to give to his community and the arts.
