ENTREPRENEUR, ELIZABETH POLKE CELEBRATED BUSINESSWOMEN BY HOSTING A SOLD-OUT WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE IN NORTH BERGEN, NEW JERSEY
In Honor of National Women’s Month, the Inspirational Event with Powerful Speakers, Actionable Take-Aways, and Networking Opportunities Provided One Attendee With a $1,000 Entrepreneurship Endowment.
In honor of National Women’s Month, serial entrepreneur and Co-founder of Avere, Elizabeth Polke, this weekend celebrated businesswomen by hosting the sold-out Women’s Empowerment conference in North Bergen, New Jersey on Saturday, March 19, 2022. The event sought to connect and enable like-minded female entrepreneurs through a day of conversation and fun.
“Capitalizing on the positive energy of National Women’s Month, it is essential that women realize their true potential and learn the skills necessary to be the most powerful version of themselves,” said Ms. Polke. “It was an honor to bring together influential women for a day of empowerment and engagement. Being a mentor to not only my team of sales professionals but women on a larger scale is my greatest passion, and I was thrilled to see today’s turnout.”
The action-packed schedule inspired attendees through a series of entrepreneurial speakers that shared their personal and professional journeys as businesswomen in the 21st-century. In her address to the attendees, Ms. Polke shared her journey to the United States as an emigrant from Ecuador and how the experience made her who she is today. Notably, Ms. Polke also detailed her five pillars of success including believe, vision, action, determination, and gratitude. Together, these pillars have guided Ms. Polke’s professional career and have served as an inspiration to others.
In addition to Ms. Polke’s keynote address, featured speakers included Luciane Serifovic, CEO and Founder of Luxian International Realty; Paula Gadtaula, CEO and Founder of Maji Safi Products; Lisbeth Abreu, CEO and Founder of Looks to Love by Lis; and Chamin Ajjan, CEO and Clinical Director of Chamin Ajjan Psychotherapy. Networking opportunities with women of influence and shopping at women-owned vendors bookended the speaking series. At the conclusion of the day’s festivities, Caroline Booth, philanthropist and event guest, was awarded a $1,000 endowment. In lieu of applying the endowment to support her business endeavors, Ms. Booth has elected to donate the funds to her church in the Philippines.
