Surviving The Quarantine 2020
At present, when the World seems chaotic with hysteria about the Pandemic, the media reporting on the doom & gloom consistently and the consequent anxiousness, it is easy to lose our center. A little bit of thought channelizing and redirection of mind may make this phase a lot easier to navigate and manage with conscious awareness.
Here are a few simple ideas that should help all of us de-stress besides also helping with our busy work-from-home schedules, for some of us:
- Exercise
- Cook
- Eat Healthy, not packaged/ processed foods
- Focus on the positive
- Practice Yoga and Meditation or Pray
- Recall good memories
- Smile often
- Listen to music
- Watch funny or romantic or feel-good movies
- Play with your kids
- Have pleasant conversations with your family
- Call your friends
- Arrange a video workout or chat session with friends & family
- Do gardening
- Learn online coursework, there are plenty of online Universities offering free coursework
- Blog about your daily at-home activities
- Showcase your favorite corner in the home
- Sing
- Clean your home, garage & car until sparkling
- Re-decorate a room
- Paint the walls or a canvas
- Re-arrange your closet
This phase may not last long but we want to able to look back on these times, feeling good about ourselves on how we dealt with these high outlier times.
