Holland, Michigan is the best small-sized US city to launch a new business in 2019, according to a new study. To determine the most business-friendly small cities in the U.S., WalletHub analyzed data of more than 1,200 small-sized US cities using 18 metrics, from investor access to labor costs, to determine this year’s best and worst small US cities to launch a new business. At the top of this list is Holland, Michigan.
St. George, UT, comes in second, followed by Fort Myers, FL; Redmond, OR; Cheyenne, WY; Huntsville, TX; Bozeman, MT; Aberdeen, SD; and Bend, OR. Wilson, North Carolina, rounds out the top ten. At the other end of the spectrum, Suisun City, California, ranks last among these 1,261 small-sized for business friendliness.
