Top up-and-coming travel destinations for 2018

Ishigaki Island (Ishigakijima) in Japan ranked first on this year’s list of top up-and-coming travel destinations in the world, according to TripAdvisor. Other destinations which are featured on the list are lesser-known, usually up-and-coming travel destinations

The top five on the list are Kapaa in Hawaii; Nairobi, Kenya; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Gdansk, Poland.

Nestled at the base of Nounou Mountain on the island of Kauai, the small Hawaiian town of Kapaa is also the top rising United States destination of 2018.

Prof. Dr. Amarendra Bhushan Dhiraj is a publishing executive and economist who is the CEO and editor-in-chief of The CEOWORLD magazine, one of the world’s most influential and recognized global news publications. Additionally, he serves as the chair of the advisory board for the CEOWORLD magazine. He received his Ph.D. in Finance and Banking from the European Global School, Paris, France.
