Top 20 Research-Orientated Universities In The World For 2018

University of Oxford and University of Cambridge

For the first time, Oxford and Cambridge Universities have claimed the top two places in a global research-orientated university league table, according to the Times Higher Education University Ranking, 2018.

While Oxford University held on to the first place, Cambridge University jumped from 4th to 2nd, unseating the California Institute of Technology, which is joint 3rd with Stanford University.

The 5th position has been grabbed by Massachusetts Institue of Technology. It is followed by Harvard, Princeton, Imperial College (London), University of Chicago and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

The CEOWORLD magazine, the world’s leading business magazine, has also released its annual ranking of Best Hospitality And Hotel Management Schools In The World for 2017, and Best Business Schools In The World For 2017.
