List Of The Top 100 Global Thinkers Making A Difference In The World: 2014 FP Edition

Vladimir Putin

As year-end approaches, the time has come for 2014’s end-of-the-year lists, and Foreign Policy Magazine has come out with its annual list of the people making a difference in the world, “100 Leading Global Thinkers of 2014.”

According to the magazine, this year’s list actually includes 131 individuals (or organizations), and sadly, only 51 of them are women, about 39 percent.

It would seem arbitrary, arguable, but not a bad overview to the news of the world this past year.

“Each year, our list of leading Global Thinkers spotlights those who have translated their ideas into actions, impacting millions worldwide,” said David Rothkopf, editor and CEO of The FP Group. The list, recognizes a year of “tumult, protest, inspiration, and new beginnings” to quote the magazine’s editors.
