“Akito is a highly respected digital advertising innovator who has built significant businesses delivering tremendous value for customers,” says Bill Demas, president and CEO, Turn. “Our industry-leading software — now localized in Japanese — combined with his energy and relationships, will instantly vault his team to a leadership position in the rapidly expanding Japan market.”
Despite the lower forecast, IDC expects that real-time bidding (RTB) display ad spending will reach $612 million in Japan in 2014.
