Good leaders will include everybody in their influence by recognising individuals’ best values and skills and encouraging them to work on improving what they are already good at. To become a better leader, it’s crucial to improve your ability to see beyond the obvious, work outside of the box, and view others with compassion and insight. #8. Be Positive:
Lastly, a good leader is somebody with the ability to remain positive, even in the face of adversity. It’s hard to respect somebody who is negative or irritable the majority of the time, which is why it’s so important for a good leader to maintain a positive outlook and attitude, even if the going gets tough. Staying positive encourages your team to do the same, even if things aren’t going to plan – something that can quickly turn things around and help you achieve the results that you need. When you have a positive attitude and outlook on life and your work, people will naturally be attracted to you as a leader.
