Nurbayu Kasim Chang is the New President and CEO of EXIM Bank

Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd (EXIM Bank) has announced the appointment of Nurbayu Kasim Chang as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO).
Bringing over two decades of experience in structured corporate banking, Islamic finance, and development finance, Nurbayu has built a strong career in the financial sector. She first joined EXIM Bank as chief business officer (CBO) in January 2023 and later took on the role of acting president and CEO in February 2024. Prior to her tenure at EXIM Bank, she also held the position of CBO at SME Bank and previously served at CIMB Bank.
Nurbayu earned her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification from Dublin Business School, Ireland, in 1999. She is also a certified Credit Professional Chartered Banker and holds a certification in Islamic Development Banking.
EXIM Bank Chairman Datuk Charon Mokhzani highlighted Nurbayu’s extensive expertise, noting that her background in capacity building and areas beyond traditional banking positions her well to drive the business forward and achieve positive outcomes for the bank.
Under her leadership, EXIM Bank is expected to further solidify its role as a leading development financial institution in Malaysia, particularly in cross-border financing, takaful insurance, and export advisory services.
