I’ve always been drawn to building and creating things, whether it’s a physical structure, a business, or a solution to a problem. Each industry I’ve worked in has allowed me to innovate in different ways. Electrical contracting taught me the value of precision and safety, while real estate development gave me an appreciation for envisioning and bringing projects to life. For me, the variety keeps things exciting and keeps me learning.

As a Project Manager and General Foreman at USIS, what skills do you consider most critical for success in your role?
Communication and problem-solving are paramount. In my position, I’m responsible for coordinating multiple teams, managing timelines, and ensuring everything aligns with safety standards and client expectations. You also need a deep understanding of the technical aspects, particularly when dealing with fire alarm systems and electrical projects. Adaptability is another critical skill because, in construction, things rarely go exactly as planned.

Your membership in the Order of Sons of Italy in America highlights your commitment to cultural heritage. How has your Italian-American background influenced your approach to work and philanthropy?
My heritage instilled in me a strong work ethic and a deep sense of community. Italian culture emphasizes family and collaboration, values that I carry into my professional and philanthropic endeavors. Through the Order of Sons of Italy, I’ve found a way to give back while celebrating the traditions that shaped me. It’s about preserving history while making a positive impact in the present.

With such a busy career, how do you find time for hobbies like snow skiing and kayaking?
It’s all about balance. I’ve learned that stepping away from work is just as important as diving into it. Activities like snow skiing or kayaking allow me to clear my head and recharge. They also remind me of the importance of living in the moment, which makes me better at handling the demands of my career.
