Christine Healy to Lead Northland Power as New President and CEO
Northland Power Inc. (TSX: NPI), a global clean energy producer, announced that Christine Healy will officially take over as President and Chief Executive Officer and join the company’s Board of Directors on January 20, 2025. This timeline marks an update to the original schedule outlined during her appointment.
John Brace, Northland’s Interim President and CEO as well as Board Chair, expressed enthusiasm about Healy joining the company earlier than initially expected. He conveyed the organization’s anticipation of her leadership beginning in January 2025.
Established in 1987, Northland Power is a prominent international power producer committed to advancing the global transition to clean energy by generating electricity from renewable resources. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, the company operates globally, maintaining offices in eight countries and overseeing approximately 3.2 GW of operating capacity (net 2.8 GW).
