Ilya Goncharov is the winner of one of the most prestigious and rare international awards in the world of project logistics 40 Under 40 AntwerpXL. “The Oscars” in project logistics: only 160 people in the world have this unique award.  The winners’ celebration took place in Antwerp, Belgium, on October 10, 2024, during the international exhibition Antwerp XL.

The judges were looking for the top forty breakbulk, project cargo and heavy lift professionals under the age of 40 from all over the world who, thanks to their excellence and commitment, are making a real difference to their organization or to the wider industry. AXL 40 Under 40 celebrates the professionals who have either achieved greatness and have made significant contributions to the sector.

Winners received VIP status at AntwerpXL, where a special drinks reception and networking event were held in their honour.

How did Ilya Goncharov achieve worldwide recognition?

Ilya Goncharov is playing a leading and critical role in the reputable Scandinavian company 3P Logistics Group in the heart and capital of the world logistics – Denmark. As a global Project Manager at 3P Logistics Group headquarters in Denmark, the group has 8 offices in Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Ilya Goncharov has successfully completed many significant projects in Europe.

Also Ilya Goncharov is a Chartered Member (CMILT) of one of the most authoritative and influential professional associations in the world in the field of logistics, organization founded in 1919 in London the CILT – The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK). He also holds the following certificates: Heavy transport and lifting seminar Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) certificate, issued in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Certificate by the Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS) issued by ACSS headquarters Miami, Florida, U.S.

Ilya Goncharov created special AI sanctions screening tools for the project cargo logistics industry. Once he noticed many news reports about sanctions and projects where cargo such as heavy turbines or modules for LNG plants weighing 14,000 tons the size of a small city are somehow being delivered with violations. Ilya Goncharov definitely saw that the project cargo industry needs AI sanctions customized screening tools that can predict this and stop these projects from the beginning.
