Diplomatic Club to Launch Japan Chapter at CEO Round Table & Diplomatic Night

The Diplomatic Club (TDC), New Delhi, is gearing up to host its flagship event, the CEO Round Table Conference & Diplomatic Night, on November 29, 2024. This milestone event will also witness the official launch of TDC’s Japan Chapter, marking a new phase in India-Japan relations and fostering deeper bilateral cooperation.

The event will center around the theme: “The Emergence of the Global South, Viksit Bharat 2047, and Incredible India to Invincible India.” It highlights India’s pivotal role in the global trade landscape. The CEO Round Table will feature over 40 ambassadors and more than 50 CEOs from top Indian companies, focusing on key topics such as trade opportunities and challenges, India’s leadership within the Global South, the role of diplomacy in economic development, and innovations in trade technology.

Expanding its global engagement, TDC plans to launch youth and science exchange programs along with Model UN Simulations at the event. These initiatives aim to empower young leaders by establishing Young Diplomatic Clubs in Indian universities, enabling students to engage with global diplomacy and critical international issues.

The event also underscores its commitment to supporting Indian MSMEs by leveraging diplomatic networks to enhance their global footprint, opening new markets, and promoting international trade. Partnerships with leading global organizations, including the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and Interpol, will further advance projects aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The conference will be graced by distinguished personalities such as Lt. Gen. Anil Bhalla (Retd.), former Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency, Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Director General at the Ministry of Tourism, and Shri Rajendra Singh, Member and Head of the National Disaster Management Authority. Other notable attendees include leaders from NIELIT and ISB, senior IAS and IPS officers, and prominent business figures from around the world.

Dr. Murthy Devarabhotla, Global President of The Diplomatic Club, emphasized the event’s importance, noting that it underscores TDC’s dedication to using diplomacy as a tool for economic advancement and cultural understanding. He explained that by fostering meaningful discussions and partnerships, TDC aims to strengthen global trade and cultural exchanges.

The launch of the Japan Chapter represents a significant milestone for TDC, opening new avenues for collaboration in trade, innovation, and cultural exchange.

Headquartered in New Delhi, The Diplomatic Club continues to connect diplomats, business leaders, academics, and policymakers. Through its initiatives in cultural exchange, youth empowerment, and economic development, TDC remains a driving force in shaping global relationships.

Under the leadership of Ambassador Deepak Vohra, Chairman, and Dr. Murthy Devarabhotla, the organization is poised to lead impactful discussions on the future of diplomacy, trade, and cultural cooperation. As anticipation builds, this landmark event is expected to set a new standard for fostering international collaboration and enhancing India’s global influence.
