The Global Luminaries That Will Attend Anant Ambani’s Wedding
The forthcoming wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, is set to be a grand affair with an illustrious guest list. Prominent figures from various fields are expected to grace the event, including former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, American celebrities Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Lee.
Other notable attendees will include boxing legend Mike Tyson, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser, BP CEO Murray Auchincloss, GlaxoSmithKline CEO Emma Walmsley, and Lockheed Martin CEO Jim Taiclet. The wedding will host approximately 1,200 guests and is scheduled to take place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, spanning from Friday to Sunday.
Rajan Mehra, CEO of air charter service Club One Air, disclosed that the Ambanis have chartered three Falcon-2000 jets from his company to accommodate their guests. In total, over 100 private planes will be used to ferry attendees to the celebration. Each aircraft is expected to make multiple trips nationwide to ensure the smooth arrival of guests from various locations.
The lavish event will mark the end of 134 days of pre-wedding festivities. These festivities included two extravagant parties: one held in India in March and another aboard a yacht that sailed from Palermo, Italy, to the South of France in late May.
Despite the excitement surrounding the celebration, the event has sparked some discontent among local residents. The large influx of guests and the associated logistics have led to significant traffic disruptions in Mumbai’s financial district, causing inconvenience for the local populace.
