Momnt Promotes Chris Bracken to CEO Position
Momnt, a fintech company based in Atlanta that focuses on lending solutions and B2B payments, has appointed Chris Bracken as its new CEO. Bracken, who previously served as the Chief Revenue Officer, will take over from Barclay Keith, the current CEO and co-founder. Keith, who has led the company for over five years, will remain involved as a special advisor to the board, offering guidance and overseeing special projects.
This leadership change follows Momnt’s recent $15 million investment round, supported by Saluda Grade Ventures, Rockefeller Asset Management, and TruStage Ventures last September.
Bracken has been with Momnt for four years, previously holding the position of CRO. His background includes over six years as CEO of Patriot Finance, a US-based consumer finance company.
In a statement, Momnt expressed confidence that Bracken would effectively leverage recent changes in the moment-of-need lending industry to the company’s advantage.
Lena McDearmid, co-founder and COO at Momnt noted Bracken’s extensive knowledge of the consumer lending market and his proven ability to drive growth, which she believes will make him an excellent leader for the company.
Established in 2019, Momnt provides embedded lending solutions for the home improvement and healthcare sectors, utilizing AI-driven decision engines and alternative data sources.
