LIV Golf Unveils Strategic Leadership Appointments; David Phillipps as New CFO
LIV Golf is set to announce a series of significant personnel changes, positioning the organization for its next phase of growth and innovation. Among the key appointments is the naming of David Phillipps, former Endeavor executive, as the new Chief Financial Officer.
Phillipps, previously the CFO at Equinox Group and SVP/Finance at Endeavor, brings a wealth of financial expertise to his new role. He will report directly to LIV CEO and Commissioner Greg Norman, underscoring his pivotal position in shaping the financial strategies of the organization.
In addition to Phillipps’ appointment, LIV has named Ross Hallett as Executive Vice President & Head of Events, and Katie O’Reilly as EVP & Head of Team Business Operations. Hallett, formerly an SVP in the golf events division for IMG, will report to COO Lawrence Burian. O’Reilly, recognized as a 2024 SBJ Forty Under 40 selection and previously the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of the 76ers, will also report to Burian.
Furthermore, Tim Taylor has been appointed to a new EVP role, where he will lead LIV’s London office. Pam Sacree has been named Head of HR, rounding out the strategic leadership appointments. Taylor, who served as LIV’s CFO for its first two years, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. All appointees will be based in either LIV’s New York or London offices and are slated to commence their roles in the coming weeks.
