Executive Departure with Wouter Kolk Leaving Ahold Delhaize
As the curtains draw on his tenure, Wouter Kolk, the leading figure in Ahold Delhaize’s European and Indonesian operations, has announced his departure by year’s end, as stated by the group.
Kolk’s journey with Ahold commenced in 1991 as a management trainee, charting a dynamic course through various roles within the conglomerate. From spearheading commercial ventures in the Asia-Pacific out of Singapore to assuming pivotal roles such as regional director for Albert Heijn and heading Gall & Gall and Etos, Kolk’s imprint on the company is indelible.
His narrative unfolds with the anticipation of enriching his professional spectrum by joining AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board, embracing fresh dimensions both in executive and non-executive realms.
Peter Agnefjäll, Chair of the Ahold Delhaize Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude for Kolk’s fervor and extensive industry acumen, which have been instrumental in propelling the company’s triumphs.
