Nigel Williams is the Successor of Craig Tomkinson at 2 Sisters Food Group in the Role of CFO

Craig Tomkinson, Group Chief Financial Officer of U.K.-based poultry company 2 Sisters Food Group, has decided to step down from his role after nearly six years of service. In his place, the company has appointed Nigel Williams as his successor.

Tomkinson, who has served as Group CFO and Board Director for almost six years and contributed to the company for over a decade, has opted for a career break before pursuing new opportunities. He will officially hand over responsibilities to Nigel Williams at the beginning of April, following Williams’ full induction in March. Tomkinson will then focus on key projects from April until his official departure in July, with Chairman Richard Pennycook overseeing the transition.

According to a press release from 2 Sisters Food Group, Williams brings over 20 years of experience leading multi-site food and beverage retailers to his new role. Having returned to the U.K. in 2024, Williams spent the previous eight years as CFO of global business Collins Foods in Australia. Prior to his tenure at Collins, he served as Finance Director for Starbucks UK.

In light of his decision, Tomkinson expressed that he feels it’s the opportune time for a career hiatus. After taking some time to rejuvenate with his family, he looks forward to embracing new challenges ahead.

Pennycook expressed gratitude for Tomkinson’s contributions, acknowledging his pivotal role in the company’s transformation. He welcomed Williams to the board, highlighting his exceptional track record in financial leadership roles and expressing optimism about the future of 2 Sisters Food Group under his guidance.
