Airthings Appoints New CEO Emma Tryti Effective Immediately
Airthings (AIRX) has announced the appointment of Emma Tryti as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Tryti brings a wealth of experience from the Norwegian financial industry, having served in key leadership roles such as Chief Commercial Officer of eCommerce and Invoice at Vipps and as Chief Executive Officer of Kron, a prominent investment app in the Norwegian market.
Airthings addresses the pressing global issue of indoor air quality, with a vast market comprising residential homes, offices, and classrooms. The company’s recent financial performance, marked by increased revenue growth, higher gross margin, and reduced operating costs, underscores its momentum towards profitability.
Geir Førre, Chairman of the Board at Airthings, welcomed Tryti’s appointment, citing her leadership skills and track record in developing customer-centric solutions. He expressed confidence in Tryti’s ability to drive Airthings forward as a hardware-enabled software company.
