As of February 29, 2024, Mukesh Ambani was the wealthiest person in India, with an estimated net worth of 114.5 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Gautam Adani (No. 2, $82.9 billion), Shiv Nadar (No. 3, $37.0 billion) and Savitri Jindal (No. 4, $30.3 billion)

Dilip Shanghvi is the fifth-richest person in India, with a whopping $25.9 billion. Cyrus Poonawalla ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $21.9 billion, followed by Kushal Pal Singh with $20.5 billion, and Kumar Birla is placed 8th with a net worth of $19.1 billion. Radhakishan Damani ($17.4 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in India.
