Jim Fagan Assumes CEO Role at Exa Infrastructure, Pioneering Growth Strategy
Exa Infrastructure has appointed Jim Fagan as its new CEO, effective August 1. Fagan brings a wealth of experience to Exa, having previously served as CEO at Aqua Comms since May 2023.
Prior to his tenure at Aqua Comms, Fagan played a pivotal role at Global Cloud Exchange, where he served as Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer. His leadership was instrumental in reviving the company from bankruptcy and orchestrating its successful acquisition by UK-based private equity firm 3i.
Fagan’s extensive career spans both domestic and international roles with renowned companies such as Telstra, Pacnet, and Rackspace, showcasing his versatile expertise in the telecommunications industry.
Since November 2023, Nick Read, former CEO of Vodafone and current Executive Chair of the Exa Board of Directors, has been overseeing CEO responsibilities while spearheading the search for a new CEO. Reflecting on Fagan’s appointment, Read emphasizes Exa’s commitment to strategic investments in cloud, content, and AI-driven growth.
In his statement, Read highlights Fagan’s profound industry knowledge and customer-centric approach, underscoring his ability to optimize operations for unparalleled service delivery.
