New Financial Leadership at FTC Solar: Cathy Behnen Appointed as CFO

FTC Solar, Inc. has named Cathy Behnen as its Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Behnen, who has been serving as Interim CFO since November 2023, now assumes the permanent role, bringing with her a wealth of experience and expertise in finance and the tracker industry.

Before assuming the interim CFO position, Behnen served as FTC’s Chief Accounting Officer since 2020. With over two decades of financial leadership experience, she has held various senior roles, including CFO and VP of Finance at Penn National Gaming Hollywood Casino Jamul – San Diego and a Partner position at the renowned accounting firm RubinBrown. Behnen is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from St. Louis University, further solidifying her credentials for her new role at FTC Solar.

Shaker Sadasivam, Chairman of the Board of FTC Solar, expressed his confidence in Behnen’s appointment, highlighting her deep understanding of the company and extensive background in both finance and the tracker sector. He praised Behnen’s exceptional performance during her interim tenure, underscoring her suitability for the permanent role. The Board looks forward to collaborating with Behnen as FTC Solar pursues sustained profitable growth.
