Steven Stennett is the new CEO of Xenia Broking Group
Xenia Broking Group Limited (XBGL), a valued entity within the Brown & Brown family, has proudly introduced Steven Stennett as its newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Tim Coles in this esteemed role.
Stennett’s appointment comes as Tim Coles transitions to a key leadership role as Chief Executive Officer for the international operations of Bridge Specialty Group, Brown & Brown’s wholesale brokerage segment. Coles will continue his association with Xenia as Chairman, succeeding Jeremy Adams, who gracefully steps back from his tenure since early 2019.
Bringing with him an extensive background spanning over 25 years in the trade credit insurance sector, Stennett has held influential positions in business development and account management at both domestic and international levels. His journey to XBGL follows a successful tenure at Allianz Trade UK and Ireland, where he served as Commercial Director, overseeing strategic initiatives in commercial distribution, marketing, and underwriting to foster sustainable growth.
Beginning his professional voyage with Atradius, followed by notable contributions at Coface, leading commercial endeavors across the UK and Western Europe, Stennett now assumes the helm as CEO at Xenia. Reflecting on his new position, Stennett remarked that the compelling vision and caliber of talent at Xenia made his decision to join an easy one.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Mike Bruce, CEO of Brown & Brown (Europe), commended Xenia’s remarkable journey of success and expansion, welcoming Stennett’s arrival as a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence. Bruce highlighted Stennett’s deep understanding of the trade credit insurance landscape and his proven leadership acumen as essential ingredients for Xenia’s continued growth and evolution.
