DXC Technology Names Raul Fernandez as President and CEO
DXC Technology, a leading provider of cutting-edge insurance and reinsurance software and technology solutions, has made a significant announcement regarding its leadership. Raul Fernandez has been appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, a decision unanimously supported by the Company’s Board of Directors.
Fernandez initially assumed the role of Interim President and CEO in December 2023, showcasing his capability during this period. His extensive experience includes previous CEO roles in various companies, coupled with his valuable contribution as a member of DXC’s Board of Directors since 2020.
Fernandez also serves as Vice Chairman and co-owner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, a private partnership with major sports franchises in Washington DC. Additionally, he holds directorships in Broadcom, Inc., plays a pivotal role as an Alternative Governor for the NBA Board of Governors, serves as a Special Advisor to Carrick Capital Partners, and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of Volition Capital. Fernandez also brings his expertise to several other private companies.
His leadership journey encompasses founding Proxicom and serving as CEO of Dimension Data North America, an information systems integration company. Fernandez also held the positions of Chairman and CEO at ObjectVideo, a developer specializing in intelligent video surveillance software.
David Herzog, Chairman of the Board, expressed confidence in Fernandez’s leadership and operational prowess. The decision is based on a thorough evaluation of his contributions, a deep understanding of DXC from his role on the Board and as Interim CEO, and his alignment with the company’s strategic plan for long-term growth.
In response to his appointment, Fernandez expressed enthusiasm for leading DXC as President and CEO.
