Rick Pedersen Succeeds Mike Hodgens in the role of CEO at QualiTech

Rick Pedersen has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of QualiTech LLC, succeeding Mike Hodgens, who served as the CEO and President of the company for a three-year tenure.

Prior to his role at QualiTech, Pedersen served as the President of Ornua Ingredients North America. Preceding his time at Ornua, he held the position of President and CEO at Agrana Fruit North America. He also served as the CFO and Finance Director of America for Fonterra over a two-year period. Pedersen has also held significant leadership roles at Nestle and Novartis Consumer Health.

He earned his bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Expressing enthusiasm about Pedersen’s arrival, Steven Loeffler, Managing Director at MidOcean Partners, a middle-market private equity firm and the majority owner of QualiTech, stated that the company is delighted to welcome Rick to QualiTech.
