Lars Sandstrom to Replace Ericsson CFO Carl Mellander on April
Ericsson, the Swedish telecommunications equipment manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Lars Sandstrom as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding the long-serving company veteran Carl Mellander. The transition is set to take effect on April 1, and Lars Sandstrom will operate from Sweden, according to an official statement from Ericsson.
The decision to appoint Sandstrom comes after Ericsson had previously disclosed Carl Mellander’s intention to step down by the conclusion of the first quarter of 2024.
Lars Sandstrom, the newly appointed CFO, currently holds the position of CFO and is a member of the executive team at Getinge, where he has been actively contributing since 2017.
