Yamaha Motor Europe Promotes Olivier Prévost to President and CEO
Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME) has disclosed that effective from January 1, 2024, Eric de Seynes will step down from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, transitioning to the company’s Supervisory Board as Chairman. Concurrently, Olivier Prévost, currently serving as Vice-President of YME, will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer for YME, including its European branches and subsidiaries.
Prévost’s journey within the Yamaha family commenced in 1994, beginning his professional career as a Project Leader at MBK Industrie, a Yamaha subsidiary since 1986. Over nearly three decades, his tenure involved various positions across Yamaha Motor Group entities, encompassing MBK Industrie, Yamaha Motor R&D Europe, Yamaha Motor headquarters in Japan, the former Yamaha subsidiary Motori Minarelli, and Yamaha Motor Europe. Through this extensive experience, Prévost has acquired comprehensive insights into Yamaha Motor’s diverse business facets, earning the trust and support to succeed Mr. de Seynes.
