Transition Plan For Sempra
On Monday, Sempra (SRE.N) announced that Trevor Mihalik, the current CFO, will assume the role of Group President for the U.S. power and gas utility, effective January 1, 2024. Karen Sedgwick, presently the Chief Administrative Officer and Human Resources Chief, is set to take on the position of Chief Financial Officer on the same date. Kevin Sagara, the current Group President, is slated to retire effective December 1, as per the company’s statement.
Additionally, Mihalik will also assume leadership over Sempra California, which includes San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Gas (SoCalGas). SoCalGas caters to 21.1 million consumers in Southern California, while San Diego Gas & Electric serves 3.3 million individuals in San Diego and parts of southern Orange County.
