Citigroup’s CEO, Jane Fraser, detailed substantial management changes in a broad reorganization, as stated in a staff memo released on Monday.
Fraser emphasized the challenging yet significant nature of the restructuring efforts, stating, “The actions we’re taking to reorganize the firm involve some difficult, consequential decisions, but we believe they are the right steps to align our structure with our strategy.”
The memo informed employees that detailed alterations in leadership roles within various business sectors and functions would be conveyed by executives on Monday and subsequently made available on an internal platform.
