Organigram is in Search of a CFO since Derrick West Steps Down due to Health Issues

The Board of Directors of Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSX: OGI) (NASDAQ: OGI) has announced that Derrick West will step down from his role as Chief Financial Officer to prioritize his health and recovery after undergoing surgery later this month.

Effective November 13, 2023, Paolo De Luca, the current Chief Strategy Officer, will serve as interim CFO while the company conducts a search for a new permanent CFO. Paolo had previously held the position of CFO at the Company from 2017 to 2020.

Ms. Goldenberg, CEO of Organigram, expressed appreciation for Derrick’s contributions, noting his role in stabilizing financial processes and implementing the ERP system. She acknowledged his support during a period of significant growth, including the acquisitions of the Winnipeg and Lac-Supérieur facilities. Ms. Goldenberg conveyed gratitude for Derrick’s tenure on the board since 2017 and his role as CFO since 2020, wishing him well in his recovery.
