B&R Auto Announces Personnel Changes

B&R Auto, a company specializing in recycled automotive parts and a subsidiary of Highview Capital, LLC, has appointed Jason Reinwald as Chief Financial Officer and has added Ramzi Hermiz and John Kett to the Board of Directors. These appointments signify a strategic step by B&R Auto to reinforce its leadership team with seasoned professionals from the automotive industry, as highlighted by Highview Capital.

Jason Reinwald, who possesses over two decades of experience in the automotive recycling industry, has assumed the role of CFO at B&R Auto. His previous positions at IAA, a well-known marketplace for salvaged and used vehicles, encompassed senior roles in finance, operations, and training and development. Reinwald’s most recent role at IAA was as Vice President for Market Supply, where he led a team of more than 60 employees. He initially joined IAA as a Controller, responsible for corporate accounting, financial reporting, M&A execution, and integration. Before his tenure at IAA, Reinwald held finance positions at CorSolutions Medical, RCT Systems, and National Material L.P. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ramzi Hermiz brings to the table over thirty years of executive leadership experience in the automotive sector. His career includes serving as CEO, President, or board director at various public and private organizations, such as Federal-Mogul, Solero Technologies, Shiloh Industries, and Carlex Glass America.

John Kett, who boasts more than 25 years of experience in the auto recycling industry, recently held the positions of CEO and President at IAA, a company valued at over $7 billion, as part of a public company merger in early 2023. Kett played a pivotal role in IAA’s substantial growth over the past two decades and brings extensive expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and business development, as noted by Highview Capital. Prior to becoming CEO, Kett held roles as CFO and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at IAA, in addition to previous positions with Central Steel & Wire and Vistar/Safelite Auto Glass.
