Chemed CFO David Williams is set to Retire
Chemed Corp. (NYSE: CHE), which owns VITAS Healthcare, the Miami-based hospice provider, and Roto-Rooter, a plumbing company, has made changes regarding its leadership team. CFO David Williams is set to retire, effective December 31.
Kevin McNamara, Chemed’s Chief Executive Officer, expressed appreciation for David Williams’ contributions and leadership during his three decades of service, leaving the financial organization well-positioned for the future.
David Williams joined Chemed in 1990 as the Vice President of Finance for The Omnia Group, a former subsidiary that manufactured medical and dental products. He held various leadership roles within Chemed and its subsidiaries.
Chemed’s board named Williams as the Vice President and CFO in March 2004, and in August 2007, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Chemed while retaining his CFO position.
